International Day for the Eradication of Poverty

The International Day for the Eradication of Poverty takes place on 17th October.

Lucy said: "Sadly, Britain is one of the most unequal societies in Europe and our government’s reckless and chaotic withdrawal from the European Union is only set to make inequality worse.

Brexit damages our ability to fight poverty internationally and at home. We must focus on reducing inequality. That means working together and it means stopping Brexit."
