Apprentices join Lucy in Brussels

In mid-October, Lucy was joined in Brussels by 15 apprentices from the East of England. They were given a glimpse into the day-to-day running of the European Parliament, considering the role, history and structure of the European Union. The apprentices were introduced to other MEPs and civil servants who outlined the challenges they face in their various roles, stressing the importance of long-term, strategic partnerships within Europe.

Interrail u-turn is good news

"It's really good news that the rail industry has abandoned its plan for Britain to leave Interrail. Thousands of people benefit from being able to travel around Britain and the rest of Europe," said Lib Dem MEP Lucy Nethsingha.
